Our Our Mexican Pewter Collection is amongst the finest quality available. It is important that our customers have a general knowledge of the use and care of these products to insure that they last for years to come.

Mexican Pewter is made from 100% lead-free aluminum alloys. Mexican Pewter is handcrafted and polished by skilled artisans. Since each piece is individually hand-cast, minor imperfections should be expected. Small pitting is normal, thus adding to the rich character and uniqueness of each piece and should not be considered imperfections.

Pewter Care and Cleaning:

  • Wash each piece before use.
  • DO NOT PUT IN THE DISHWASHER OR MICROWAVE.
  • Hand wash with mild soap and water and dry immediately.
  • Do not store foods or liquids for an extended period of time.
  • To avoid staining from acidic foods, coat before use with cooking spray or vegetable oil.
  • Oven safe up to 350 degrees.
  • Coat with heavy layer of household shortening when use for floating candles or flowers.
  • Pewter polish is recommended for shine pick-up, surface scratches, or if staining occurs.
  • Do not cut directly on surface.
  • Mexican Pewter never tarnishes and is great for serving foods hot or cold!
